Store delicate items wrapped in bubble wrap in furniture drawers
Pack boxes as full as possible, stuffing newspaper or bubble wrap into the corners. This avoids boxes collapsing when packing.
Place naphthalene, moth balls, or camphor in clothing boxes, if being stored for a length of time.
Label each box very clearly for easy recovery if required.
Pack your refrigerator with wrapped kitchenware, ie pots and pans.
Remove batteries from clocks and appliances before storage to avoid corrosion Place protective covers over mattresses, chairs and couches.
Store garden tools inside rubbish bins stuffed with newpaper.
Drain fuel from lawn mower before storage
Do not store paint or batteries If storing contents of an entire house, we suggest you rely on your professional furniture removalist to completely pack your Storage unit because they are so good at it, making the most of every metre of space. When you have completed packing your storage unit, lock it and relax.
